राज्याभिषिक्तः प्रपितामहेन त्रैलोक्यनाशाय मतिं चकार ।। उत्साद्य धर्मान् सकलान्प्रमत्तो जित्वाहवे सोपि सुरान्समस्तान् ।। ।। 2.5.43.२० ।।

He was coronated by Brahmā the great grandfather of the worlds. He became inclined to destroy the three worlds. The highly elated Asuras disturbed all righteous activities and defeated all the gods in battle.

english translation

rAjyAbhiSiktaH prapitAmahena trailokyanAzAya matiM cakAra || utsAdya dharmAn sakalAnpramatto jitvAhave sopi surAnsamastAn || || 2.5.43.20 ||
