नारद उवाच ॥ शंखचूडवधं श्रुत्वा चरितं शशिमौलिनः ॥ अयं तृप्तोऽस्मि नो त्वत्तोऽमृतं पीत्वा यथा जनः ॥ १ ॥

sanskrit

Nārada said: I am not satiated by hearing the story of the mooon-crested lord Śiva including the annihilation of Śaṅkhacūḍa from you even as people are not satiated by drinking nectar.

english translation

nArada uvAca ॥ zaMkhacUDavadhaM zrutvA caritaM zazimaulinaH ॥ ayaM tRpto'smi no tvatto'mRtaM pItvA yathA janaH ॥ 1 ॥
