एतदर्थे हि मद्रूपः परिपूर्णतमः प्रभुः ।। कैलासे भक्तवशतस्संतिष्ठति गिरौ हरे ।। 2.5.31.४० ।।

sanskrit

O Viṣṇu, it is for this purpose that the lord assuming my form fully and perfectly stays on the mountain Kailāsa favouring the devotees by being subservient to them.

english translation

etadarthe hi madrUpaH paripUrNatamaH prabhuH || kailAse bhaktavazatassaMtiSThati girau hare || 2.5.31.40 ||
