दैत्यायुधैः समाविद्धदेहा देवास्सवासवाः ।। रणाद्विदुद्रुवुस्सर्वे भयव्याकुलमानसाः ।।२ ।।

sanskrit

With their bodies cut and pierced by the weapons of the Asuras, the gods including Indra became distressed in mind by fear and they fled from the battle.

english translation

daityAyudhaiH samAviddhadehA devAssavAsavAH || raNAdvidudruvussarve bhayavyAkulamAnasAH ||2 ||
