त्रयस्सर्गाः प्रकृत्याश्च ब्रह्मणः परिकीर्तिताः ।। तत्राद्यो महतस्सर्गो द्वितीयः सूक्ष्मभौतिकः ।।४५।।

sanskrit

Brahmā evolved three types of creation from Prakṛti. The first one was the creation of Mahat (the cosmic principle of intellect.) The second was that of the subtle elements.

english translation

trayassargAH prakRtyAzca brahmaNaH parikIrtitAH || tatrAdyo mahatassargo dvitIyaH sUkSmabhautikaH ||45||
