सनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ एतच्छुत्वा तु सर्वेषां देवादीनां वचो हरः ॥ अंगीचकार सुप्रीत्या शरण्यो भक्तवत्सलः॥१॥
Samtkumāra said: On hearing the words of the gods and others, Śiva accepted the proposal. The lord is worthy of being sought refuge and is also favourably disposed to his devotees.
english translation
sanatkumAra uvAca ॥ etacchutvA tu sarveSAM devAdInAM vaco haraH ॥ aMgIcakAra suprItyA zaraNyo bhaktavatsalaH॥1॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतस्मिन्नंतरे देवी पुत्राभ्यां संयुता शिवा॥ आजगाम मुने तत्र यत्र देवान्वितो हरः ॥२॥
O sage, in the meantime the goddess Pārvatī arrived there with the two sons where Śiva was in conversation with the gods.
english translation
etasminnaMtare devI putrAbhyAM saMyutA zivA॥ AjagAma mune tatra yatra devAnvito haraH ॥2॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथागतां शिवां दृष्ट्वा सर्वे विष्ण्वादयो द्रुतम्॥ प्रणेमुरतिनम्रास्ते विस्मिता गतसंभ्रमाः ॥३॥
On seeing Pārvatī come there, Viṣṇu and others were surprised but without agitation they bowed to her in great humility.
english translation
athAgatAM zivAM dRSTvA sarve viSNvAdayo drutam॥ praNemuratinamrAste vismitA gatasaMbhramAH ॥3॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रोचुर्जयेति सद्वाक्यं मुने सर्वे सुलक्षणम् ॥ तूष्णीमासन्नजानंतस्तदागमनकारणम् ॥४॥
O sage, they shouted cries of “Victory”. But unable to know the cause of her arrival, they remained silent.
english translation
procurjayeti sadvAkyaM mune sarve sulakSaNam ॥ tUSNImAsannajAnaMtastadAgamanakAraNam ॥4॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ सर्वैः स्तुता देवैर्देव्यद्भुतकुतूहला ॥ उवाच स्वामिनं प्रीत्या नानालीलाविशारदम् ॥५॥
On being eulogised by the gods, the goddess Pārvatī full of wonderful enthusiasm spoke lovingly to her lord, an expert in different kinds of sports.

atha sarvaiH stutA devairdevyadbhutakutUhalA ॥ uvAca svAminaM prItyA nAnAlIlAvizAradam ॥5॥
