व्यास उवाच ।। दैत्यराजे दीक्षिते च मायिना तेन मोहिते ।। किमुवाच तदा मायी किं चकार स दैत्यपः ।। १ ।।

Vyāsa said: When the ruler of the Asuras was initiated after being deluded by the deceptive sage expert in the magic art what did the sage say? What did the ruler of the Asuras do?

english translation

vyAsa uvAca || daityarAje dIkSite ca mAyinA tena mohite || kimuvAca tadA mAyI kiM cakAra sa daityapaH || 1 ||
