नन्दीश्वरोऽसि पशुषु वृषभः परमेश्वर ।। वेदेषूपनिषद्रूपी यज्वनां शीतभानुमान् ।। ४१ ।।

Among animals, you are the bull Nandīśvara, O lord Śiva. Among Vedic texts you are in the form of Upaniṣads; Among the sacrificers you are the cool-rayed moon.

english translation

nandIzvaro'si pazuSu vRSabhaH paramezvara || vedeSUpaniSadrUpI yajvanAM zItabhAnumAn || 41 ||

प्रतापिनां पावकस्त्वं शैवानामच्युतो भवान् ।। भारतं त्वं पुराणानां मकारोऽस्यक्षरेषु च ।। ४२ ।।

Among the burning ones, you are the fire, among the devotees of Śiva, you are Viṣṇu, among Purāṇas you are Bharata; among the letters of the alphabet you are the letter Ma.

pratApinAM pAvakastvaM zaivAnAmacyuto bhavAn || bhArataM tvaM purANAnAM makAro'syakSareSu ca || 42 ||

प्रणवो बीजमंत्राणां दारुणानां विषं भवान् ।। व्योमव्यप्तिमतां त्वं वै परमात्मासि चात्मनाम् ।। ४३ ।।

Among the Bījamantras you are the Praṇava; among the terrible ones you are poison; among the pervading ones you are the firmament; among the Ātmans you are the supreme Ātman.

praNavo bIjamaMtrANAM dAruNAnAM viSaM bhavAn || vyomavyaptimatAM tvaM vai paramAtmAsi cAtmanAm || 43 ||

इन्द्रियाणां मनश्च त्वं दानानामभयं भवान् ।। पावनानां जलं चासि जीवनानां तथामृतम् ।। ४४ ।।

Among the sense-organs you are the mind; among the charitable gifts you are the gift of freedom from fear; among the sanctifying and life-giving agents you are considered the waters.

indriyANAM manazca tvaM dAnAnAmabhayaM bhavAn || pAvanAnAM jalaM cAsi jIvanAnAM tathAmRtam || 44 ||

Among all acquisitions you are the acquisition of sons; among those with velocity you are the wind; among the routine sacred rites you are the Sandhyā worship.
