वेदमंत्रैर्यथायोग्यं नामभिर्वा समंत्रकैः ॥ चतुर्थ्यंतपदैर्भक्त्या द्रव्याण्येवार्पयेत्तदा ॥५६॥
Then the offerings shall be made with great devotion reciting the requisite Vedic mantras or the names ending in the dative case.
english translation
तथाभिलषितं द्रव्यमर्पयेच्छंकरोपरि ॥ ततश्च वारुणं स्नानं करणीयं शिवाय वै ॥५७॥
Similarly any desirable and desired material shall be offered to Śiva. Thereafter the Vāruṇa Snāna rite (ceremonial ablution) shall be performed to Śiva.
english translation
सुगंधं चंदनं दद्यादन्यलेपानि यत्नतः ॥ ससुगंधजलेनैव जलधारां प्रकल्पयेत् ॥५८॥
Sweet-smelling sandal paste and other unguents shall then be applied. The water poured over the deity in a continuous current shall be rendered fragrant.
english translation
वेदमंत्रैः षडंगैर्वा नामभी रुद्रसंख्यया ॥ यथावकाशं तां दत्वा वस्त्रेण मार्जयेत्ततः ॥ ५९ ॥
The water ablutions shall be made reciting Vedic mantras or six-syllabled mantra eleven times, if so much time can be spared, then the deity shall be wiped with a cloth.

पश्चादाचमनं दद्यात्ततो वस्त्रं समर्पयेत ॥ तिलाश्चैव जवा वापि गोधूमा मुद्गमाषकाः ॥2-1-13-६०॥
Then the Ācamana shall be offered and cloth dedicated. Gingelly seeds, barley grains, wheat, green gram or black gram shall then be offered to Śiva with various mantras.
