पश्चाच्चैवार्घपात्रेण क्षारयेल्लिंगमुत्तमम् ।। अनन्यमानसो भूत्वा पूजाद्रव्यं निधाय च ।।४६।।

sanskrit

Afterwards the excellent liṅga shall be washed with the water from the vessel of Arghya itself after keeping all the material with the concentrated mind.

english translation

pazcAccaivArghapAtreNa kSArayelliMgamuttamam || ananyamAnaso bhUtvA pUjAdravyaM nidhAya ca ||46||

पश्चाच्चावाहयेद्देवं मंत्रेणानेन वै नरः ।। कैलासशिखरस्थं च पार्वतीपतिमुत्तमम् ।। ४७ ।।

sanskrit

Afterwards, the devotee should invoke the deity with this mantra, the supreme Lord of Parvati, who resides on the peak of Mount Kailasa.

english translation

pazcAccAvAhayeddevaM maMtreNAnena vai naraH || kailAsazikharasthaM ca pArvatIpatimuttamam || 47 ||

यथोक्तरूपिणं शंभुं निर्गुणं गुणरूपिणम् ।। पंचवक्त्रं दशभुजं त्रिनेत्रं वृषभध्वजम् ।। ४८ ।।

sanskrit

He is the formless and yet embodies all qualities, the five-faced, ten-armed one, with three eyes and the bull as his flag.

english translation

yathoktarUpiNaM zaMbhuM nirguNaM guNarUpiNam || paMcavaktraM dazabhujaM trinetraM vRSabhadhvajam || 48 ||

कर्पूरगौरं दिव्यांगं चन्द्रमौलिं कपर्दिनम् ।। व्याघ्रचर्मोत्तरीयं च गजचर्माम्बरं शुभम् ।। ४९ ।।

sanskrit

He is white like camphor, with a divine body, adorned with the crescent moon and matted hair. He wears the tiger skin and elephant skin, both auspicious and pure.

english translation

karpUragauraM divyAMgaM candramauliM kapardinam || vyAghracarmottarIyaM ca gajacarmAmbaraM zubham || 49 ||

वासुक्यादिपरीतांगं पिनाकाद्यायुधान्वितम् ।।। सिद्धयोऽष्टौ च यस्याग्रे नृत्यंतीह निरंतरम् ।।2.1.13.५० ।।

Adorned with Vasuki and other serpents, holding the Pinaka bow and other weapons, the eight Siddhis dance continuously in front of him.
