बहिर्निस्सृत्य कैलासात्त्वष्टा शासनतो हरेः ॥ विरेचे नगरं रम्यमद्भुतं निकटे गिरेः ॥ ६१ ॥
After coming out of Kailasa, at the behest of Viṣṇu, Tvaṣṭṛ built a wonderfully fine city very near the mountain.
english translation
bahirnissRtya kailAsAttvaSTA zAsanato hareH ॥ virece nagaraM ramyamadbhutaM nikaTe gireH ॥ 61 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र रम्यं गृहं दिव्यमद्भुतं परमो ज्ज्वलम् ॥ गुहार्थं निर्ममे त्वष्टा तत्र सिंहासनं वरम् ॥६२॥
There he built a divine, exquisite and wonderfully brilliant house for Kumāra. Tvaṣṭṛ set up an excellent throne there.
english translation
tatra ramyaM gRhaM divyamadbhutaM paramo jjvalam ॥ guhArthaM nirmame tvaSTA tatra siMhAsanaM varam ॥62॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदा हरिस्सुधीर्भक्त्या कारयामास मंगलम् ॥ कार्त्तिकस्याभिषेकं हि सर्वतीर्थजलैस्सुरैः ॥ ६३ ॥
The intelligent Viṣṇu performed the auspicious ceremony of crowning Kārttikeya in the company of the gods by means of waters from all holy centres.
english translation
tadA harissudhIrbhaktyA kArayAmAsa maMgalam ॥ kArttikasyAbhiSekaM hi sarvatIrthajalaissuraiH ॥ 63 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वथा समलंकृत्य वासयामास संग्रहम् ॥ कार्त्तिकस्य विधिं प्रीत्या कारयामास चोत्सवम् ॥ ६४ ॥
He bedecked Kārttikeya in every manner and dressed him gorgeously. He went through the ceremony in brief and made everyone celebrate the event with pleasure.
english translation
sarvathA samalaMkRtya vAsayAmAsa saMgraham ॥ kArttikasya vidhiM prItyA kArayAmAsa cotsavam ॥ 64 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्राह्मांडाधिपतित्वं हि ददौ तस्मै मुदा हरिः ॥ चकार तिलकं तस्य समानर्च सुरैस्सह ॥ ६५ ॥
Viṣṇu joyously gave him the suzerainty of the universe. He applied the Tilaka mark and worshipped him along with the gods.
english translation
brAhmAMDAdhipatitvaM hi dadau tasmai mudA hariH ॥ cakAra tilakaM tasya samAnarca suraissaha ॥ 65 ॥
