करोषि च यथाऽलोकं नाऽऽच्छन्नोऽस्मासु तेजसा ॥ यथा सूर्यः कलाछन्नो न भवेन्मानवस्य च ॥५६॥
You can shed splendour if your brilliance is not hidden just as the sun illuminates the world only when it is not hidden by the cloud.
english translation
विष्णुस्त्वं जगतां व्यापी नान्यो जातोसि शांभव ॥ यथा न केषां व्याप्यं च तत्सर्वं व्यापकं नभः ॥५७॥
In the matter of omnipresence in the universe you alone are Viṣṇu, O Śiva’s son. The all-pervading sky is not pervaded by anything else.
english translation
योगीन्द्रो नाऽनुलिप्तश्च भागी चेत्परिपोषणे ॥ नैव लिप्तो यथात्मा च कर्मयोगेषु जीविनाम् ॥ ५८ ॥
A Yogin is not entangled in the activities of nurturing himself. The soul is not involved in the physical activities.
english translation
विश्वारंभस्त्वमीशश्च नासु ते संभवेत् स्थितिः ॥ गुणानां तेजसां राशिर्यथात्मानं च योगिनः ॥ ५९ ॥
You are the creator of the universe, you are the lord. Your place is not among these. You are a mass of attributes and splendour as the soul of a Yogin.
english translation
भ्रातर्ये त्वां न जानंति ते नरा हतबुद्धयः ॥ नाद्रियन्ते यथा भेकास्त्वेकवासाश्च पंकजान् ॥ 2-4-4-६० ॥
O brother, those who do not know you are of damned intellect. Although the toads and lotuses are in the same pond toads are not honoured.
