चतुर्थे दिवसे प्राप्ते चतुर्थीकर्म शुद्धितः ॥ बभूव विधिवद्येन विना खण्डित एव सः ॥ २१ ॥
On the fourth day, the rite of Caturthīkarman was performed with due observance. Without this the marriage rites would have been incomplete.
english translation
caturthe divase prApte caturthIkarma zuddhitaH ॥ babhUva vidhivadyena vinA khaNDita eva saH ॥ 21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउत्सवो विविधश्चासीत्साधुवादजयध्वनिः ॥ बहुदानं सुगानञ्च नर्त्तनम्विविधन्तथा ॥ २२ ॥
There was diverse jubilant festivity. Shouts of “well-done”, “Victory” etc were heard. There were exchanges of gifts, sweet music and different kinds of dances.

utsavo vividhazcAsItsAdhuvAdajayadhvaniH ॥ bahudAnaM sugAnaJca narttanamvividhantathA ॥ 22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपञ्चमे दिवसे प्राप्ते सर्वे देवा मुदान्विताः ॥ विज्ञप्तिञ्चक्रिरे शैलं यात्रार्थमतिप्रेमतः ॥ २३ ॥
On the fifth day the delighted gods lovingly intimated to the mountain about their desire to go back.
english translation
paJcame divase prApte sarve devA mudAnvitAH ॥ vijJaptiJcakrire zailaM yAtrArthamatipremataH ॥ 23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदाकर्ण्य गिरीशश्चोवाच देवान् कृताञ्जलिः ॥ कियद्दिनानि तिष्ठन्तु कृपाङ्कुर्वन्तु मां सुराः ॥२४॥
On hearing that, the lord of mountains spoke to the gods with palms joined in reverence “O gods, please stay a few days more”.
english translation
tadAkarNya girIzazcovAca devAn kRtAJjaliH ॥ kiyaddinAni tiSThantu kRpAGkurvantu mAM surAH ॥24॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्युक्त्वा स्नेहतस्ताँश्च प्रभुम्विष्णुञ्च माम्परान् ॥ वासयामास दिवसान् बहून्नित्यं समादरात् ॥२९॥
Saying thus with great love he made all of us, the lord, Viṣṇu and others stay there for many days, honouring us duly every day.

ityuktvA snehatastA~zca prabhumviSNuJca mAmparAn ॥ vAsayAmAsa divasAn bahUnnityaM samAdarAt ॥29॥
