लीलाविहारिणा तेन मोहितं च चराचरम् ॥ नो जानाति शिवं कोऽपि प्राज्ञोऽपि गिरिसत्तम ॥२१॥
The whole world consisting of the mobile and immobile has been deluded by Him in His divine sport. O excellent mountain, even the wisest of men does not know Him.

लिंगाकृतेर्महेशस्य केन दृष्टं न मस्तकम्॥ विष्णुर्गत्वा हि पातालं तदेनं नापविस्मितः ॥२२॥
The head of lord Śiva of phallic image was not seen by Brahma. Viṣṇu who went to the nether worlds did not see His foot. How surprised he was.
english translation
किंबहूक्त्या नगश्रेष्ठ शिवमाया दुरत्यया॥ तदधीनास्त्रयो लोका हरिब्रह्मादयोपि च ॥२३॥
O excellent mountain, of what avail is this talk? Śiva’s magical power is inscrutable. The three worlds, Viṣṇu, Brahmā and others too are subservient to Him.
english translation
तस्मात्त्वया शिवा तात सुविचार्य प्रयत्नतः ॥ न कर्तव्यो विमर्शोऽत्र त्वेवंविधवरे मनाक् ॥२४॥
Hence, O father of Pārvatī, ponder over this deeply. No doubt need be entertained by you even slightly with respect to this bridegroom of your choice.
english translation
ब्रह्मोवाच॥ इत्युक्त्वा त्वं मुने ज्ञानी शिवेच्छाकार्यकारकः ॥ प्रत्यवोचः पुनस्तं वै शैलेद्रं हर्षयन्गिरा ॥२५॥
Brahmā said: O sage, after saying this, you, of perfect wisdom, who carried out the will of Śiva replied again to the mountain after delighting him with your words.
