नीराजनेन रम्येण यथोक्तविधिना ततः ॥ नमस्कारैः स्तवैश्चान्यैर्मंत्रैर्नानाविधैरपि ॥ ७१ ॥
With the delightful act of performing rituals, as instructed, with salutations, hymns, and various mantras, in diverse forms, one should offer reverence.
english translation
nIrAjanena ramyeNa yathoktavidhinA tataH ॥ namaskAraiH stavaizcAnyairmaMtrairnAnAvidhairapi ॥ 71 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअर्घ्यं दत्त्वा तु पुष्पाणि पादयोस्सुविकीर्य च ॥ प्रणिपत्य च देवेशमात्मनाराधयेच्छिवम् ॥७२॥
After offering water (Arghya), placing flowers at his feet with care, bowing down, one should worship Lord Shiva, the divine ruler, with utmost devotion.
english translation
arghyaM dattvA tu puSpANi pAdayossuvikIrya ca ॥ praNipatya ca devezamAtmanArAdhayecchivam ॥72॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहस्ते गृहीत्वा पुष्पाणि समुत्थाय कृतांजलिः ॥ प्रार्थयेत्पुनरीशानं मंत्रेणानेन शंकरम् ॥ ७३ ॥
The devotee shall take some flowers in his hands, stand up with palms joined in reverence and repeating the following mantra shall pray again to Īśāna, Śaṅkara.
english translation
haste gRhItvA puSpANi samutthAya kRtAMjaliH ॥ prArthayetpunarIzAnaM maMtreNAnena zaMkaram ॥ 73 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअज्ञानाद्यदि वा ज्ञानाज्जपपूजादिकं मया ॥ कृतं तदस्तु सफलं कृपया तव शंकर ॥७४॥
O Śiva, may this Japa, Pūjā etc. performed by me with or without the requisite knowledge be fruitful, thanks to Thy grace.
english translation
ajJAnAdyadi vA jJAnAjjapapUjAdikaM mayA ॥ kRtaM tadastu saphalaM kRpayA tava zaMkara ॥74॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपठित्वैवं च पुष्पाणि शिवोपरि मुदा न्यसेत् ॥ स्वस्त्ययनं ततः कृत्वा ह्याशिषो विविधास्तथा ॥७५॥
After reciting this, one should place the flowers on Lord Shiva with joy. After performing the auspicious rites, one should offer various blessings and good wishes.

paThitvaivaM ca puSpANi zivopari mudA nyaset ॥ svastyayanaM tataH kRtvA hyAziSo vividhAstathA ॥75॥
