लघिमा दक्षिणं चैव महिमा पश्चिमं तथा ॥ प्राप्तिश्चैवोत्तरं पत्रं प्राकाम्यं पावकस्य च॥४६॥
The Laghu (lightness) should be placed in the eastern direction, Mahima (greatness) in the southern, and Prāpti (acquisition) in the western direction. The Pākam (fiery energy) should be invoked in the north.
english translation
ईशित्वं नैर्ऋतं पत्रं वशित्वं वायुगोचरे॥ सर्वज्ञत्वं तथैशान्यं कर्णिका सोम उच्यते ॥ ४७ ॥
The Ishitatva (lordship) should be in the southwest, Vaśitva (control) in the wind's direction, Sarvajñatva (omniscience) in the northeast, and Karnikā (the lunar energy) in the moon’s direction.

सोमस्याधस्तथा सूर्यस्तस्याधः पावकस्त्वयम्॥ धर्मादीनपि तस्याधो भवतः कल्पयेत् क्रमात् ॥ ४८ ॥
Beneath the moon is the sun and beneath that is the fire. Dharma etc. are beneath that. All these shall be assigned regularly.

अव्यक्तादि चतुर्दिक्षु सोमस्यांते गुणत्रयम् ॥ सद्योजातं प्रवक्ष्यामीत्यावाह्य परमेश्वरम् ॥ ४९ ॥
In the four quarters Avyakta etc. the unmanifest principle and in the end of Soma the three Guṇas shall be assigned. Lord Śiva shall be invoked by the formula “I am addressing Sadyojāta".

वामदेवेन मंत्रेण तिष्ठेच्चैवासनोपरि ॥ सान्निध्यं रुद्रगायत्र्या अघोरेण निरोधयेत् ॥ 2-1-11-५० ॥
Then the devotee small repeat Vāmadeva[3] mantra and stand on his seat. The Sānnidhya rite shall be performed with Rudra Gāyatrī[4] mantra and the rite of Nirodha shall be performed with Aghora mantra.
