रथा रथिभिराकृष्टा महाश्चर्यसमन्विताः ॥ वाहनानि तथान्यानि पत्तयः कृत्रिमास्तथा ॥ १६ ॥
Chariots were driven by charioteers, other vehicles by other drivers. There were foot-soldiers too. All of them were artificial.
english translation
rathA rathibhirAkRSTA mahAzcaryasamanvitAH ॥ vAhanAni tathAnyAni pattayaH kRtrimAstathA ॥ 16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं विमोहनार्थन्तु कृतं वै विश्वकर्मणा ॥ देवानां च मुनीनां च तेन प्रीतात्मना मुने ॥१७॥
O sage, Viśvakarman was so delighted that he made all these things to fascinate the visiting dignitaries, the gods and the sages.
english translation
evaM vimohanArthantu kRtaM vai vizvakarmaNA ॥ devAnAM ca munInAM ca tena prItAtmanA mune ॥17॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमहाद्वारि स्थितौ नन्दी कृत्रिमश्च कृतो मुने ॥ शुद्धस्फटिकसंकाशो यथा नन्दी तथैव सः ॥१८॥
O sage, the statue of Nandin, at the portals, of crystalline purity and brilliance, was a prototype of the real Nandin.

mahAdvAri sthitau nandI kRtrimazca kRto mune ॥ zuddhasphaTikasaMkAzo yathA nandI tathaiva saH ॥18॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्योपरि महादिव्यम्पुष्पकं रत्नभूषितम् ॥ राजितं पल्लवैश्शुभ्रश्चामरैश्च सुशोभितम् ॥१९॥
Above that there was the celestial chariot Puṣpaka decorated with sprouts. It shone with gods represented therein.

On the left side there were two huge saffron coloured elephants with four tusks and appearing to be of sixty years in age. They shone lustrously.
