Shiva Purana
मृते भर्तरि सा नारी दुखितातिविषण्णधीः॥ किंचित्कालं शुभाचारा सुशीलोवास सद्मनि ॥ ७॥
When the husband passed away, the woman was much distressed, dejected and despondent. For some time she maintained her pure conduct. She remained in the house, a well-behaved lady.

mRte bhartari sA nArI dukhitAtiviSaNNadhIH॥ kiMcitkAlaM zubhAcArA suzIlovAsa sadmani ॥ 7॥
