तद्दिने योजनं गत्वा विंशति ग्रामके शुभे ।। उवासास्तं गते भानौ गृहे विप्रस्य कस्यचित् ।। ३६ ।।

He walked about twelve kilometres that day and when the sun set, he halted at the house of a certain Brahmin in the auspicious village of Viṃśatigrāma.

english translation

taddine yojanaM gatvA viMzati grAmake zubhe || uvAsAstaM gate bhAnau gRhe viprasya kasyacit || 36 ||
