॥ सूत उवाच ॥ इत्युक्तोऽपि तया व्याधो न मेने तद्वचो यदा॥ तदा सुविस्मिता भीता वचनं साब्रवीत्पुनः ॥ ३० ॥

Sūta said:— When the hunter did not accept its proposal even after being implored thus, the bewildered and frightened hind spoke again.

॥ sUta uvAca ॥ ityukto'pi tayA vyAdho na mene tadvaco yadA॥ tadA suvismitA bhItA vacanaM sAbravItpunaH ॥ 30 ॥
