Shiva Purana
तच्च द्रव्यं समर्प्यैव जलधारां ददेत वै ॥ पश्चाच्च जलधाराभिर्द्रव्याणुत्तारयेद्बुधः ॥ ४९ ॥
After offering the materials the steady water-pouring shall be made. The intelligent devotee shall consecrate the materials of worship with the steady pouring of water.
english translation
tacca dravyaM samarpyaiva jaladhArAM dadeta vai ॥ pazcAcca jaladhArAbhirdravyANuttArayedbudhaH ॥ 49 ॥
