सूत उवाच ॥ इत्युक्तास्ते सुरास्सर्वे विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना ॥ मत्वा दैत्यान्हतान्दुष्टान्ययुर्धाम स्वकंस्वकम् ॥ १० ॥

sanskrit

Sūta said:— Thus consoled by lord Viṣṇu, the gods thought that the Daityas would be surely killed. They then went to their respective abodes.

english translation

sUta uvAca ॥ ityuktAste surAssarve viSNunA prabhaviSNunA ॥ matvA daityAnhatAnduSTAnyayurdhAma svakaMsvakam ॥ 10 ॥
