सर्वे पुत्रप्रसूतिं तां प्रशशंसुर्निरन्तरम् ।। तया तत्सह्यते न स्म शिशो रूपादिकं तथा ।। २।।

Her people celebrated the birth of a son continually. But she could not bear the sight of the beautiful child.

sarve putraprasUtiM tAM prazazaMsurnirantaram || tayA tatsahyate na sma zizo rUpAdikaM tathA || 2||
