Shiva Purana
एवं नागेश्वरो देव उत्पन्नो ज्योतिषां पतिः ॥ लिंगरूपस्त्रिलोकस्य सर्वकामप्रदस्सदा ॥ ४३॥
Thus is the manifestation of Nāgeśvara, the lord in the form of a Jyotirliṅga conferring the attainment of desires to the three worlds.

evaM nAgezvaro deva utpanno jyotiSAM patiH ॥ liMgarUpastrilokasya sarvakAmapradassadA ॥ 43॥
