तदा मया तु क्रुद्धेन भूमौ गर्तं विधाय च ॥ तत्राग्निं समाधाय पार्थिवं च प्रकल्प्य च ॥ ४२ ॥

Then I angrily dug a hole in the ground There he placed the fire and made the earth.

tadA mayA tu kruddhena bhUmau gartaM vidhAya ca ॥ tatrAgniM samAdhAya pArthivaM ca prakalpya ca ॥ 42 ॥
