ततस्स गौतमो भीतो गौर्हतेति बभूव ह ॥ चकार विस्मयं नार्यहल्याशिष्यैश्शिवानुगः ॥ ३३ ॥

Then Gautama was frightened thinking that a cow had been killed. Along with his wife Ahalyā, his disciples, the devotees of Śiva, he began to wonder.
