शत कुंभैस्तथा स्नात्वा पार्थिवं निष्कृतिर्भवेत् ॥ इति तैर्षिभिः प्रोक्तस्तथेत्योमिति तद्वचः ॥ ५५ ॥

sanskrit

Performing the ablution of the earthen phallic image of Śiva with a hundred potful of water, the expiatory rite will be completed.” When he was thus urged by the sages he said in the affirmative.

english translation

zata kuMbhaistathA snAtvA pArthivaM niSkRtirbhavet ॥ iti tairSibhiH proktastathetyomiti tadvacaH ॥ 55 ॥
