यावच्चैवाभिशापो वै तावत्कार्य्यं न किंचन।। न कर्मण्यधिकारोऽस्ति दैवे पित्र्येऽथ वैदिके ।। ४४।।

As long as there is this curse, no rite shall be performed. You are not authorised in any of the rites of god, manes or the Vedic rituals.

english translation

yAvaccaivAbhizApo vai tAvatkAryyaM na kiMcana|| na karmaNyadhikAro'sti daive pitrye'tha vaidike || 44||
