।। सूत उवाच ।। कदाचिद्गौतमेनैव जलार्थं प्रेषिता निजाः ।। शिष्यास्तत्र गता भक्त्या कमंडलुकरा द्विजाः ।। १।।

sanskrit

Sūta said:— O brahmins, once Gautama sent his disciples there for water. Carrying out his orders they reached the spot with the water-pots in their hands.

english translation

|| sUta uvAca || kadAcidgautamenaiva jalArthaM preSitA nijAH || ziSyAstatra gatA bhaktyA kamaMDalukarA dvijAH || 1||
