तदा ते मुनयश्चैव मनुष्याः पशवस्तथा ॥ पक्षिणश्च मृगास्तत्र गताश्चैव दिशो दश ॥ ६ ॥

Then the sages and other men, the beasts, birds and the deer of the forest went to the different quarters.

english translation

tadA te munayazcaiva manuSyAH pazavastathA ॥ pakSiNazca mRgAstatra gatAzcaiva dizo daza ॥ 6 ॥
