येषां क्वापि गतिर्नास्ति तेषां वाराणसी पुरी।। पंचक्रोशी महापुण्या हत्याकोटिविनाशनी ।। २७।।

sanskrit

Of those who do not attain salvation elsewhere, the city of Vārāṇasī is the resort. The meritorious holy centre Pañcakrośī is destructive of sins of crores of slaughter.

english translation

yeSAM kvApi gatirnAsti teSAM vArANasI purI|| paMcakrozI mahApuNyA hatyAkoTivinAzanI || 27||
