ते तु सर्वे समेता वै कृतसंकेतसंविदः ।। उज्जयिन्याश्चतुर्द्वारं रुरुधुर्बहुसैनिकाः ।। १४ ।।

They joined together, consulted and conspired with one another. With a vast army they laid siege to the four main gates of Ujjayinī.

english translation

te tu sarve sametA vai kRtasaMketasaMvidaH || ujjayinyAzcaturdvAraM rurudhurbahusainikAH || 14 ||
