तेषां पुण्यप्रतापाच्च पृथिव्यां सुखमैधत ।। शुक्लपक्षे यथा चन्द्रो वर्द्धते च निरंतरम् ।। ११।।

Thanks to the power of their merit, happiness increased on the earth even as the moon waxes incessantly in the bright half of the month.

english translation

teSAM puNyapratApAcca pRthivyAM sukhamaidhata || zuklapakSe yathA candro varddhate ca niraMtaram || 11||
