Shiva Purana
सोमलिंगं नरो दृष्ट्वा सर्वपापात्प्रमुच्यते ॥ लब्ध्वा फलं मनोभीष्टं मृतस्स्वर्गं समीहते ॥ ५७ ॥
On seeing this Somaliṅga a person is relieved of all sins. After enjoying the fruits as desired, he attains heaven after death.
english translation
somaliMgaM naro dRSTvA sarvapApAtpramucyate ॥ labdhvA phalaM manobhISTaM mRtassvargaM samIhate ॥ 57 ॥
