सूत उवाच ॥ तदाकर्ण्य वचस्तेषां देवानां परमेश्वरः ॥ प्रत्युवाच प्रसन्नात्मा दुष्टहंता सतां गतिः ॥ ६ ॥

Sūta said:— On hearing the words of the gods, the delighted lord Śiva, the slayer of the wicked and the goal of the good replied.

sUta uvAca ॥ tadAkarNya vacasteSAM devAnAM paramezvaraH ॥ pratyuvAca prasannAtmA duSTahaMtA satAM gatiH ॥ 6 ॥
