वृत्त्यर्थं पूजयेल्लिंगं लोकस्य हितकारकम् ॥ षण्मासं यो द्विजश्चैव स वै देवलकः स्मृतः ॥ १७ ॥
One should worship the linga for the sake of occupation which is beneficial to the world A brāhmaṇa who lives for six months is called a devalaka.
