देवैश्च पीडितः सोपि यावद्गर्तमुपागतः ।। तावच्छूलेन संप्रोतः शिवेन परमात्मना ।। १०।।

Attacked and tormented by the gods, the Asura returned to the ditch when he was pierced through with the trident by Śiva, the supreme soul.

english translation

devaizca pIDitaH sopi yAvadgartamupAgataH || tAvacchUlena saMprotaH zivena paramAtmanA || 10||
