ऋषय ऊचुः ॥ सूत जानासि सकलं वस्तु व्यासप्रसादतः ॥ तवाज्ञातं न विद्येत तस्मात्पृच्छामहे वयम् ॥ १॥
The sages said:— O Sūta, you know every thing by the grace of Vyāsa. There is nothing not known to you. Hence we approach you with a query.
