यत्किंचिद्दृश्यते दृश्यं वर्ण्यते स्मर्यते च यत् ॥ तत्सर्वं शिवरूपं हि नान्यदस्तीति किंचन ॥ ११ ॥
Whatever is seen, described or remembered is Śiva’s form. Nothing other than that has real existence.
english translation
तथापि श्रूयताम्प्रीत्या कथयामि यथाश्रुतम्॥ लिंगानि च ऋषिश्रेष्ठाः पृथिव्यां यानि तानि ह॥ १२॥
Nevertheless listen to me with pleasure I shall tell you as I have heard it And the limbs of the best of the sages which are on earth.
english translation
पाताले चापि वर्तन्ते स्वर्गे चापि तथा भुवि ॥ सर्वत्र पूज्यते शम्भुः सदेवासुरमानुषैः॥ १३॥
They exist in the underworld as well as in heaven and on earth Lord Śambhu is worshiped everywhere by gods, demons and human beings.
english translation
त्रिजगच्छम्भुना व्याप्तं सदेवासुरमानुषम्॥ अनुग्रहाय लोकानां लिंगरूपेण सत्तमाः॥ १४॥
O excellent ones, the three worlds consisting of the gods, Asuras and human beings are pervaded by Śiva in the form of phallic image for the welfare of the worlds.
english translation
अनुग्रहाय लोकानां लिंगानि च महेश्वरः ॥ दधाति विविधान्यत्र तीर्थे चान्यस्थले तथा ॥ १५ ॥
In order to bless the worlds, lord Śiva assumes different phallic forms here in the holy centres as well as in other places.
