विशोध्य वाससा पुष्पं लिंगमूर्द्धनि विन्यसेत्॥ पीठे लिंगं समारोप्य सूर्याद्यर्चां समाचरेत् ॥ ४०॥

After wiping the Liṅga with a piece of cloth he shall put a flower on the top. After installing the Liṅga on the pedestal he shall perform the worship of the sun.

english translation

vizodhya vAsasA puSpaM liMgamUrddhani vinyaset॥ pIThe liMgaM samAropya sUryAdyarcAM samAcaret ॥ 40॥
