तस्मिन्क्रमे महादेवि विशेषः कोऽपि कथ्यते ॥ उपदेशदिने लिंगम्पूजितं गुरुणा सह ॥ ३१॥
What is special about that order, O great goddess? On the day of the instruction the Lingam was worshiped with the Guru.
english translation
गृह्णीयादर्चयिष्यामि शिवमाप्राणसंक्षयम्॥ एवन्त्रिवारमुच्चार्य्य शपथं गुरुसन्निधौ ॥ ३२॥
Let him take it and I will worship Lord Shiva whose life is destroyed. After reciting these words three times, he took the oath in the presence of his spiritual master.

ततस्समर्चयेन्नित्यम्पूर्वोक्तविधिना प्रिये॥ अर्घं समर्पयेल्लिंगमूर्द्धन्यर्घ्योदकेन च॥ ३३॥
O beloved, he shall worship it, as mentiond above. He shall pour water from Argha above on the top of Liṅga.
english translation
प्रणवेन समभ्यर्च्य धूपदीपौ समर्पयेत् ॥ ऐशान्यां चण्डमाराध्य निर्माल्यञ्च निवेदयेत् ॥ ३४॥
After worshipping it with Praṇava he shall offer incense and the lamp. After propitiating Caṇḍa in the north-east he shall offer Nirmālya.
english translation
प्रक्षाल्य ल्लिंगम्वेदीञ्च वस्त्रपूतैर्जलैस्ततः ॥ निःक्षिप्य पुष्पं शिरसि लिंगस्य प्रणवेन तु ॥ ३५॥
Then he washed the lingam and the altar with water cleansed with clothes Throwing flowers on the head of the Linga with the oṁkāra.
