तदधीनप्रवृत्तित्त्वात्प्रकृतेः पुरुषस्य च ॥ अथवा त्रिगुणन्तत्त्वं मायेयमिदमव्ययम् ॥ १२ ॥

Because of the instinct of nature and man under it. Or this inexhaustible illusory essence of the threefold nature.

tadadhInapravRttittvAtprakRteH puruSasya ca ॥ athavA triguNantattvaM mAyeyamidamavyayam ॥ 12 ॥
