आपूर्य शुद्धतोयेन प्रणवेन सुगंधिना॥ अभ्यर्च्य गंधपुष्पाद्यैः प्रणवेन च सप्तधा ॥ ६ ॥
Fill it with pure water and fragrant oṁkāra. After worshiping him with fragrant flowers and other offerings and chanting the oṁkāra in seven parts.
english translation
अभिमंत्र्य ततस्तस्मिन्धेनुमुद्रां प्रदर्शयेत ॥ शंखमुद्रां च तेनैव प्रोक्षयेदस्त्रमंत्रतः ॥ ७ ॥
After chanting the mantra one should then present the cow mudra to the deity Sprinkle the conchshell and mudra with the same water, chanting the mantra Astra.
english translation
आत्मानं गंधपुष्पादिपूजोपकरणानि च ॥ प्राणायामत्रयं कृत्वा ऋष्यादिकमथाचरेत् ॥ ८ ॥
He shall sprinkle himself and the scents, flowers and other materials of worship. After performing Prāṇāyāma thrice he shall utter the names of the sages etc.

अस्य श्रीसौरमंत्रस्य देवभाग ऋषिस्ततः ॥ छन्दो गायत्रमित्युक्तं देवस्सूर्यो महेश्वरः ॥ ९॥
The sage of this Śrī Sauramantra is Devabhaga. The chant is called Gayatra and the god is the sun and the great Lord.
english translation
देवता स्यात्षडंगानि ह्रामित्यादीनि विन्यसेत् ॥ ततस्संप्रोक्षयेत्पद्ममस्त्रेणाग्नेरगोचरम् ॥ १०॥
The deity should be placed in the six positions, such as Hram. Then one should sprinkle the lotus with the weapon which is invisible to the fire.
