ततो गुरुः समादाय विरजानलजं शितम् ॥ भस्म तेनैव तं शिष्यं समुद्धृत्य यथाविधि ॥ ६० ॥

sanskrit

Then the preceptor took the cold fire of Viraja With the same ashes he lifted the disciple in accordance with the prescribed ritual.

english translation

tato guruH samAdAya virajAnalajaM zitam ॥ bhasma tenaiva taM ziSyaM samuddhRtya yathAvidhi ॥ 60 ॥
