Shiva Purana
पूज्यार्घ्योक्तविधानेन सुन्दरम्मण्डलं शुभम् ॥ कुर्य्यात्सम्पूजयेत्तञ्च सुगन्धकुसुमा दिभिः ॥ २३ ॥
The auspicious beautiful circle is worshiped in the manner prescribed by the arghya. One should perform these rituals and worship them with fragrant flowers and other offerings.

pUjyArghyoktavidhAnena sundarammaNDalaM zubham ॥ kuryyAtsampUjayettaJca sugandhakusumA dibhiH ॥ 23 ॥
