सदाशिवस्य देवस्य धर्मपत्नी मनोहरा ॥ जगदम्बा त्रिजननी त्रिगुणा निर्गुणाप्यजा ॥ ५६ ॥
She is the beautiful consort of righteousness of Lord Sadashiva Jagadamba Trijanani Triguna Nirgunapyaja.
english translation
इत्येवं संविचार्य्याथ गायत्रीं प्रजपेत्सुधीः ॥ आदिदेवीं च त्रिपदां ब्राह्मणत्वादिदामजाम् ॥ ५७ ॥
After thinking thus the intelligent devotee shall perform the Japa of Gāyatrī the primordial goddess comprising three metrical feet. She is unborn and the bestower of brahminhood.
english translation
यो ह्यन्यथा जपेत्पापो गायत्री शिवरूपिणीम्॥ स पच्यते महाघोरे नरके कल्पसंख्यया ॥ ५८ ॥
The sinner who repeats Gāyatrī in any other manner is tortured in the terrible hell for the period of kalpa.
english translation
सा व्याहृतिभ्यः संजाता तास्वेव विलयं गता॥ ताश्च प्रणवसम्भूताः प्रणवे विलयं गता ॥ ५९ ॥
She is horn of and merged into Vyāhṛtis. Vyāhṛtis are born of the Praṇava and are merged in Praṇava.
english translation
प्रणवस्सर्ववेदादिः प्रणवः शिववाचकः ॥ मन्त्राधिराजराजश्च महाबीजं मनुः परः ॥ ६० ॥
Praṇava is the initial of all mantras of the Vedas. It expresses Śiva. It is the emperor of all mantras. It is the great Bīja, the greatest mantra.
