कनि॑क्रन्ति॒ हरि॒रा सृ॒ज्यमा॑न॒: सीद॒न्वन॑स्य ज॒ठर॑ऋ पुना॒नः । नृभि॑र्य॒तः कृ॑णुते नि॒र्णिजं॒ गा अतो॑ म॒तीर्ज॑नयत स्व॒धाभि॑: ॥ कनिक्रन्ति हरिरा सृज्यमानः सीदन्वनस्य जठरे पुनानः । नृभिर्यतः कृणुते निर्णिजं गा अतो मतीर्जनयत स्वधाभिः ॥
The green-tinted Soma cries aloud when let loose, sitting when filtered in the belly of the pitcher; collected by the priests, he assumes his shape, (putting on) the products of the kine, therefore raise praises (to him) with oblations.

हरि॑: सृजा॒नः प॒थ्या॑मृ॒तस्येय॑र्ति॒ वाच॑मरि॒तेव॒ नाव॑म् । दे॒वो दे॒वानां॒ गुह्या॑नि॒ नामा॒विष्कृ॑णोति ब॒र्हिषि॑ प्र॒वाचे॑ ॥ हरिः सृजानः पथ्यामृतस्येयर्ति वाचमरितेव नावम् । देवो देवानां गुह्यानि नामाविष्कृणोति बर्हिषि प्रवाचे ॥
The green-tinted Soma being let loose propels the voice that indicates the path of truth as the boatman (propels his) boat; the bright Soma reveals to his worshipper on the sacred grass the secret names of the god.

अ॒पामि॒वेदू॒र्मय॒स्तर्तु॑राणा॒: प्र म॑नी॒षा ई॑रते॒ सोम॒मच्छ॑ । न॒म॒स्यन्ती॒रुप॑ च॒ यन्ति॒ सं चा च॑ विशन्त्युश॒तीरु॒शन्त॑म् ॥ अपामिवेदूर्मयस्तर्तुराणाः प्र मनीषा ईरते सोममच्छ । नमस्यन्तीरुप च यन्ति सं चा च विशन्त्युशतीरुशन्तम् ॥
The priests hurrying like the waves of the waters dispatch praises towards Soma; adoring him they approach and come up together, longing for him who longs for them they enter him.

तं म॑र्मृजा॒नं म॑हि॒षं न साना॑वं॒शुं दु॑हन्त्यु॒क्षणं॑ गिरि॒ष्ठाम् । तं वा॑वशा॒नं म॒तय॑: सचन्ते त्रि॒तो बि॑भर्ति॒ वरु॑णं समु॒द्रे ॥ तं मर्मृजानं महिषं न सानावंशुं दुहन्त्युक्षणं गिरिष्ठाम् । तं वावशानं मतयः सचन्ते त्रितो बिभर्ति वरुणं समुद्रे ॥
(The priests) milk forth the Soma cleansed (dwelling) on a high plural ce like a buffalo, the sprinkler, plural ces between the grinding-stones; praises attend upon the longing Soma; (Indra) who dwells in three abodes supports him, the defeater of enemies, in the firmament.

इष्य॒न्वाच॑मुपव॒क्तेव॒ होतु॑: पुना॒न इ॑न्दो॒ वि ष्या॑ मनी॒षाम् । इन्द्र॑श्च॒ यत्क्षय॑थ॒: सौभ॑गाय सु॒वीर्य॑स्य॒ पत॑यः स्याम ॥ इष्यन्वाचमुपवक्तेव होतुः पुनान इन्दो वि ष्या मनीषाम् । इन्द्रश्च यत्क्षयथः सौभगाय सुवीर्यस्य पतयः स्याम ॥
Indu, being purified, stimulating the praise (of the worshippers) like the answer of the hotā set free the understanding; when (you) and Indra are present together (at the sacrifice) may we be prosperous, may we become the possessors of excellent male progeny.
