सु॒शि॒ल्पे बृ॑ह॒ती म॒ही पव॑मानो वृषण्यति । नक्तो॒षासा॒ न द॑र्श॒ते ॥ सुशिल्पे बृहती मही पवमानो वृषण्यति । नक्तोषासा न दर्शते ॥
The pure-flowing (Soma) longs for the fair-formed wide-reaching mighty Night and Dawn not yet visible.
english translation
उ॒भा दे॒वा नृ॒चक्ष॑सा॒ होता॑रा॒ दैव्या॑ हुवे । पव॑मान॒ इन्द्रो॒ वृषा॑ ॥ उभा देवा नृचक्षसा होतारा दैव्या हुवे । पवमान इन्द्रो वृषा ॥
I invoke the two divine priests, the two deities who behold men-- the pure-flowing (Soma) is radiant and the showerer (of benefits).

भार॑ती॒ पव॑मानस्य॒ सर॑स्व॒तीळा॑ म॒ही । इ॒मं नो॑ य॒ज्ञमा ग॑मन्ति॒स्रो दे॒वीः सु॒पेश॑सः ॥ भारती पवमानस्य सरस्वतीळा मही । इमं नो यज्ञमा गमन्तिस्रो देवीः सुपेशसः ॥
May the three beautiful goddesses, Bhāratī, Sarasvatī, and mighty Iḷā, come to this our offering of the Soma.

त्वष्टा॑रमग्र॒जां गो॒पां पु॑रो॒यावा॑न॒मा हु॑वे । इन्दु॒रिन्द्रो॒ वृषा॒ हरि॒: पव॑मानः प्र॒जाप॑तिः ॥ त्वष्टारमग्रजां गोपां पुरोयावानमा हुवे । इन्दुरिन्द्रो वृषा हरिः पवमानः प्रजापतिः ॥
I invoke Tvaṣṭā, the first-born, the protector, the leader; the golden-coloured pure-flowing Indu is Indra, the showerer, the lord of all creatures.

वन॒स्पतिं॑ पवमान॒ मध्वा॒ सम॑ङ्ग्धि॒ धार॑या । स॒हस्र॑वल्शं॒ हरि॑तं॒ भ्राज॑मानं हिर॒ण्यय॑म् ॥ वनस्पतिं पवमान मध्वा समङ्ग्धि धारया । सहस्रवल्शं हरितं भ्राजमानं हिरण्ययम् ॥
Pure Soma, consecrate with your streaming ambrosia the green bright golden-hued Vanaspati with its thousand branches.
