यमी॒ गर्भ॑मृता॒वृधो॑ दृ॒शे चारु॒मजी॑जनन् । क॒विं मंहि॑ष्ठमध्व॒रे पु॑रु॒स्पृह॑म् ॥ यमी गर्भमृतावृधो दृशे चारुमजीजनन् । कविं मंहिष्ठमध्वरे पुरुस्पृहम् ॥
The germ which the augmenters of the rite brought forth at the sacrifice lovely to look upon intelligent, most adorable, desired by many.

yamI॒ garbha॑mRtA॒vRdho॑ dR॒ze cAru॒majI॑janan । ka॒viM maMhi॑SThamadhva॒re pu॑ru॒spRha॑m ॥ yamI garbhamRtAvRdho dRze cArumajIjanan । kaviM maMhiSThamadhvare puruspRham ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस॒मी॒ची॒ने अ॒भि त्मना॑ य॒ह्वी ऋ॒तस्य॑ मा॒तरा॑ । त॒न्वा॒ना य॒ज्ञमा॑नु॒षग्यद॑ञ्ज॒ते ॥ समीचीने अभि त्मना यह्वी ऋतस्य मातरा । तन्वाना यज्ञमानुषग्यदञ्जते ॥
He of his own will approaches the great united parents of the sacrifice (heaven and earth) when (the priests) conducting the ceremony anoint him in due order with the sacred waters.
english translation
sa॒mI॒cI॒ne a॒bhi tmanA॑ ya॒hvI R॒tasya॑ mA॒tarA॑ । ta॒nvA॒nA ya॒jJamA॑nu॒Sagyada॑Jja॒te ॥ samIcIne abhi tmanA yahvI Rtasya mAtarA । tanvAnA yajJamAnuSagyadaJjate ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्रत्वा॑ शु॒क्रेभि॑र॒क्षभि॑ॠ॒णोरप॑ व्र॒जं दि॒वः । हि॒न्वन्नृ॒तस्य॒ दीधि॑तिं॒ प्राध्व॒रे ॥ क्रत्वा शुक्रेभिरक्षभिॠणोरप व्रजं दिवः । हिन्वन्नृतस्य दीधितिं प्राध्वरे ॥
Soma, by your act drive away with your brilliant organs the darkness from the sky, effusing into the sacrifice (your juice) the lustre of the rite.
