आ॒प॒प्रुषी॒ पार्थि॑वान्यु॒रु रजो॑ अ॒न्तरि॑क्षम् । सर॑स्वती नि॒दस्पा॑तु ॥ आपप्रुषी पार्थिवान्युरु रजो अन्तरिक्षम् । सरस्वती निदस्पातु ॥
May Sarasvatī, filing (with radiance) the expanse of earth and heaven, defend us from the reviled.
english translation
त्रि॒ष॒धस्था॑ स॒प्तधा॑तु॒: पञ्च॑ जा॒ता व॒र्धय॑न्ती । वाजे॑वाजे॒ हव्या॑ भूत् ॥ त्रिषधस्था सप्तधातुः पञ्च जाता वर्धयन्ती । वाजेवाजे हव्या भूत् ॥
Abiding in the three worlds, comprising seven elements, cherishing the five races (of beings), she is ever to be invoked in battle.
english translation
प्र या म॑हि॒म्ना म॒हिना॑सु॒ चेकि॑ते द्यु॒म्नेभि॑र॒न्या अ॒पसा॑म॒पस्त॑मा । रथ॑ इव बृह॒ती वि॒भ्वने॑ कृ॒तोप॒स्तुत्या॑ चिकि॒तुषा॒ सर॑स्वती ॥ प्र या महिम्ना महिनासु चेकिते द्युम्नेभिरन्या अपसामपस्तमा । रथ इव बृहती विभ्वने कृतोपस्तुत्या चिकितुषा सरस्वती ॥
She who is disinguished among them as eminent in greatness and in her glories; she who is the most impetuous of all other streams; she who as been created vast in capacity as a chariot, she, Sarasvatī, is to be glorified by the discree (worshippers).
english translation
सर॑स्वत्य॒भि नो॑ नेषि॒ वस्यो॒ माप॑ स्फरी॒: पय॑सा॒ मा न॒ आ ध॑क् । जु॒षस्व॑ नः स॒ख्या वे॒श्या॑ च॒ मा त्वत्क्षेत्रा॒ण्यर॑णानि गन्म ॥ सरस्वत्यभि नो नेषि वस्यो माप स्फरीः पयसा मा न आ धक् । जुषस्व नः सख्या वेश्या च मा त्वत्क्षेत्राण्यरणानि गन्म ॥
Guide us, Sarasvatī, to precious wealth; reduce us no to insignificance; overwhelm us not with (excess of) water; be plural ased by our friendly (services) and access to our habitations, and let us not repair to plural ces unacceptable to you.
